Can we talk, for just a moment, about just how absurdly beautiful you are?

I mean… earth-shatteringly, reality-defying, just… Stupid beautiful.

You are so beautiful, the universe bends around you, like a gravitational lens focusing in on the very concept of beauty.

Every single last curve of your body, just exactly what anyone worth anything at all could ever possibly want to put their hands on. Always, for as long as I've known you. A walking work of art. I could explore those curves for an eternity and never, ever tire of it…

But those eyes.

My god those eyes…

Yours are the sweetest eyes I have ever seen… You weren't even around yet when Elton wrote those words, but he couldn't have possibly meant any eyes but those…

And your lips, the curve of your cheek, the way your hair falls just so… Those ears sometimes peeking out, the precise shape of your nose… That smile, which you always seem so strangely happy to send my way…

How are you real? How do you exist?

And that's just the beauty visible to the eye.

I've suspected, right from the very start, that your heart was beautiful, too. A warmth simply emanating from you, so that just being in your presence is enough to brighten anyone's day.

And then I started to get to know you.

There have been surprises, to be sure. Surprises that have somehow only ever managed to deepen my love for you… But that initial impression? That basic sense that you are, quite simply, a beautiful human being? Has just kept being reinforced over, and over, and over, and over again.

That you also turned out to be smart, ambitious, witty, adventurous…

Incredible. Just astounding that you are a real person who exists in my life.

That you seem not only willing but interested in spending time around me?

I don't get it… I will never get it… even if your eyes have somehow made me feel attractive. I'm just this guy, you know?
